• For everyday leather maintenance, use 10 mLs mixed with 1 litre of water.
• Antique and fragile leather restoration: 10 mLs mixed with 2 Litres of water. 125mL Bottle mix with 24.5 litres of water.

Application:

• Remove dirt, dust, and particulates first.
• Moisten a lint-free cloth with the diluted cleaner.
• Gently wipe down the leather item following the grain. There is no need to scrub or rub vigorously.
• Use a Damp, Lint-free cloth to wipe off residue.
• After cleaning, allow the Leather to dry naturally.
• Once dry, use frapete leather balsam and massage it in using your hands.

Maintenance:

For regular maintenance, you may use the diluted solution periodically to keep your Leather looking its best, and use frapete leather balsam conditioner.

Note:

• Mix the solution in a spray bottle for easy use.
• Always test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area of the leather item to check for colourfastness.

• Using any liquid to clean the suede or Nubuck is not recommended, but it can be used with care.

Cleaning Suede/Nubuck:

Using a suede brush, wipe in one direction to remove dust and grime. Use a normal eraser (Same as what is used in schools, pencil eraser) and rub to remove stubborn marks. Clean with the brush, then use the diluted solution to wipe in one direction with a lint-free cloth. Do not soak. Use a damp cloth to clean off.
Sprinkle cornstarch on the damp areas and leave for 3 minutes. It will help remove oil from the suede.
Use a vacuum to suck up the starch.
Use the suede brush to fluff up the suede.

Safety

• Keep frapete Leather cleaner in a safe place, easily accessible but out of reach of children.
• Drink lots of water if swollen and seek medical advice.
